 Oils were taken over by Water based mediums such as Watercolours and Acrylics, Mughal dancing figures changed into European ballets, and landscapes were replaced by floral paintings. I paint the memory of a moment and the excitement of the experience. They are a mixture of bright colours, bold strokes, forced and unforced errors. My loose painting style can appear effortless, but it actually requires a shift not only in process but also in thinking. In an unfinished painting, the viewers will ‘fill in the blanks’ and put their thoughts somewhere in my paintings. I can describes my work as “ Expression with the touch of impression”.
