Kinza Awan

The topic of my thesis is “ Day Dreamer” that describe amalgamation of the memories of my childhood in which I used to visit the historical buildings. I spent most of the time in those stunning monuments and was extremely inspired by their artefacts. I was fascinated by the Mughal Culture; mostly their royal jewels and “libaas”. I have painted myself in my artwork.  My memories influence my art. It was a desire to visualise myself as the royal ladies and my art make it possible for me, I used myself in the miniature paintings instead of the royal ladies.
