Naveed Ashkal Paintings:

He had done a great deal of work in figurative art since he had spent some quality time with his mentor, Eqbal Mehdi. The noticeable feature of these pieces is their softer tones enhanced by the smart use of the source light. Ashkal's is fascinated with oriental art and artists (particularly belonging to the 19th century) and his urge to know more about an era that most people remember with fondness lead him to get hold of Washington Irving's book The Al Hambra.

His Paintings Exhibitions have been showcasing since 1992, which have inaugurated by Diplomats, Federal Ministers, and various paintings have been commissioned and kept in permanent collections. Ashkal is fond of Visiting museums and galleries to research and study old masters art work.

He knows the worth of finesse in art, which is precisely what he strives to achieve. It indicates Ashkal's adroitness as a painter. He painted notable Portrait of The Quaid-e-Azam (Mural) and other famous world personalities.
