Artist Touhid Shimul is basically a painter. He was born in Feni district of Bangladesh. He spent his childhood in his own district. After completing his higher secondary education in Dhaka, he was later admitted to Chittagong University. Here he earned his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in painting, respectively, in the fine arts department. From his student days till now, artist Touhid Shimul has participated in exhibitions at the national and international levels in the country and abroad including the Fine Arts Department. He also received advanced training in design management from AOTS-HIDA, a reputed organization in Japan, and using that experience in his professional life he worked locally and internationally in the brand development of several worldfamous brands including Motorola, LG, Alcatel. 
Artist Touhid Shimul has conducted workshops to develop children's creativity in different parts of the country and in several regions, including Bhutan. 
 Organizational activities are always a matter of his choice. So he founded an organization called "ZOBRA the Art Village" to bring together artists and art lovers from around the world where he is serving as a founding member and Chief Executive Officer. This organization is constantly adding information about artists from different countries of the world and they're artworks so that art lovers can get ideas about different artists and artworks from different countries of the world today. One of the main objectives of this organization is to organize regular art exhibitions and art camps. 
Artist Touhid Shimul feels an inseparable love for children. So he established an organization for children called "Feni Shilpangan" and is acting as the Director of this organization. Here children come together and have the opportunity to develop themselves in various branches of art. This painter is convinced to keep himself involved in the art for the rest of his life.
